A Panel Discussion Featuring

Hatapic2Nobu Hata, Director of Digital Engagement, National Association of REALTORS®
An industry veteran since 1996, Nobu is a student of marketing, communications trends, social media, and technology in the real estate industry, having  implemented and adapted various new-school techniques to his successful brick and mortar business in Minneapolis, Minn., for Edina Realty until July 2012. A speaker, instructor, and volunteer member leader since 2009 (NAR YPN, Communications, Equal Opportunity/Diversity, Strategic Planning Committees), Nobu’s skill-set brings insight and context to NAR of agent, brokerage, and association issues. He delivers value-added information to REALTORS®, both in-person and through the digital domain.

And our panelists:

Brian F. SaundersBrian F. Saunders, Brian F. Saunders & Associates
Brian has come a long way in a very short amount of time, having received his start at Greg Garrett Realty.com. Brian grew from salesperson to Associate Broker within the organization before starting his own firm in the spring of 2014. Brian F. Saunders & Associates can best be described as a boutique firm which serves all of Hampton Roads. In addition to traditional clients (re-sale), Brian provides foreclosure, short sales, broker price opinions and cash for key services to both local and national banks some of his clients include: Southern Bank and Trust, Nationstar Mortgage, Freddie Mac, and Bank of The Commonwealth. The firm’s platform is based on establishing relationships for the long term. Brian is a huge advocate of both training and education within the industry.

Susan Swink (2)Susan Swink, Managing Broker, Long & Foster Realtors, Beverly Hills Sales Office
In 2012, Susan utilized the skills she acquired over the past 21 years as a real estate investor, top producing agent, managing broker, real estate instructor, and coach, to create, open, and manage a new, uniquely innovative, “hybrid” real estate sales office for Long & Foster Realtors in Richmond, Virginia. Susan designed her office for the way agents of today and tomorrow work by combining traditional agent support services with virtual and concierge support services. This unique blend of support services delivery combined with Susan’s “partnership” management style has afforded the agent-centric, team oriented, Long & Foster Beverly Hills Sales Office to attract and retain the talents of 35 agents with a median age of 46 in the past two years, all in under 1,000 square feet of agent work area with no private agent offices. Susan, who currently serves as a director for the Richmond Association of Realtors and Central Virginia Multiple Listing Service was ranked #1 in the 2013 Long & Foster company-wide Agent Satisfaction Survey.

AmandaMWalshAmanda Walsh Patierno, Amanda M. Walsh Real Estate

Walsh Real Estate serving the ENTIRE Hampton Roads area. She has a passion for real estate and education, and has several areas of expertise. Amanda maintains a very dynamic portfolio of Property Management clients, and endeavors to provide both her resale clients and investors with the best service around.
