2020 VPAR Public Policy Year In Review

What a year 2020 has been! In these uniquely challenging circumstances, VPAR has remained actively engaged in a robust and effective public policy and advocacy program. Despite the pandemic, and limited access to decision makers, your association has continued its vigilance, its relevance and its success so that private property rights are protected, that a strong housing market is in place and that REALTORS® can continue to conduct business.

From local work groups and commissions, to City Councils and County Boards of Supervisors; to the House of Delegates and the Senate of Virginia, and the Governor’s Office; to our Congressional Delegation…and even through an election cycle…VPAR was at the table to provide input, if not at the head of the table to lead and facilitate discussions. We are proud of what has been accomplished, and hope that you will take a moment to review the attached graphic that highlights our effort and our success. We think you will be impressed, and will see the value of this important member benefit.
